It's such a brilliant game, especially if you're a Star Wars fan, or a tactics fan. If this game had some kind of serious revival in player numbers I would weep from joy. Moviebattles dueling, in my opinion, is far more skillful and entertaining than vanilla sabering could ever hope to be, which is one of the main reasons why I've stuck with it for over 7 years. Because of these new features, sabering is planted firmly on the ground and is based on strikes, parries, and ripostes. An enemy can negate all BP damage by looking directly into the swing, in what's known as a Perfect Block. More BP is drained if the enemy is running or has their swing interrupted while still in windup by a well timed strike. Every successful hit landed on an enemy will drain their BP. However, you must first break down an enemy's guard which is determined by BP (Block Points), or bypass it by hitting that enemy's back. In Moviebattles, lightsabers can kill in single hits. Moviebattles 2, on the other hand, takes the fast paced combat of vanilla and delivers a far more movie realistic dueling system. Dark Forces 2, Jedi Outcast, and vanilla Jedi Academy are all about jumping around and trying to whack the enemy's health down with relatively low impact strikes. Moviebattles 2 has by far the most in-depth sabering system in any Jedi Knight game.
